You can reach Doin.ca by call, text or email. Our one number, (604) 632-4959, takes both calls and texts, and written messages go to Ali@Sedighi.ca. Our hours are Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific. We usually reply within one business day.
The first 30-minute consultation is free, with no obligation and no lock-in afterwards.
What happens next
You reach out
Call, text or email with a line about your business.
We reply
Usually within one business day, on the channel you chose.
You talk to a senior strategist
A focused conversation about your goals, market and numbers.
Three ways to reach us
Pick whichever fits your day. Every message reaches a senior strategist, not a call centre.
- Call (604) 632-4959 when you'd rather explain the situation out loud than type it. If we can't pick up, leave a short message with your name and a good time to call back.
- Text (604) 632-4959 if you're between jobs or customers. A couple of lines is plenty to start.
- Email Ali@Sedighi.ca if you want to attach a plan, a list of goals or notes on a stuck project.
We work with owners across Canada, so mention your province or time zone and we'll suggest times that work for you.
What to include in your first message
You don't need a polished pitch. A few honest lines are more useful. Try covering:
- ☐ Your business name, what you do and roughly how many people work in it
- ☐ Your province or territory
- ☐ The plan, goal or project that keeps slipping
- ☐ How long it's been stuck, roughly
- ☐ What you've tried already, such as a coach, a course, a planner or an app
- ☐ When and how you'd like us to reach you
Here is a template you can copy and fill in:
Hi, I run [Business name] in [City, Province]. We're a team of [number] doing [type of work]. I've been trying to [goal or project] since [month], and it keeps getting pushed back because [reason, if you know it]. I'd like to talk about whether coaching could help. You can reach me on [day and time].
What happens next
The process is short and predictable.
- We reply. Usually within one business day, by the method you used to contact us.
- The free consultation. Thirty minutes in person, by video or by phone. We ask about your business, your goals and what gets in the way. You ask us anything.
- A recommendation. If coaching fits, we suggest a starting point, often a six-week action plan or a stalled project restart. If it doesn't fit, we'll say so and, where we can, point you elsewhere.
- A written proposal. Scope, schedule and price, within the ranges on our pricing page, with any terms in writing.
- Your first check-in. Booked at a fixed weekly time that suits you.
Before you get in touch
If you'd like to understand the approach first, the services overview explains the five ways we work, and the FAQ covers price, contracts and what happens when a week goes badly. Our guide on running your own weekly check-in is a good way to test the idea on your own.
Good reasons to get in touch now
Owners often wait for a quieter month before calling. The quiet month rarely arrives. A few signs that now is a sensible time:
- ☐ A season is about to change and you want this one to go differently
- ☐ The same project has been on your list for three months or more
- ☐ You've just finished a plan, course or strategy day and want it to stick
- ☐ A partner, manager or family member keeps asking about something you haven't started
A note on how we communicate
We reply to people who contact us first, by the same channel they used. We don't add anyone to marketing lists. During coaching, commitment notes go out by text or email after each check-in, whichever you prefer. Everything you share is treated as confidential business information and used only to coach you.
Doin.ca is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, run from Vancouver, British Columbia, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. Read more about us.
Frequently asked questions
Should I call, text or email?
Whichever suits you. A call is quickest if you want to talk it through. A text works well from a job site or between customers. Email is best if you want to attach a plan or describe a project in detail.
What happens in the free consultation?
We spend 30 minutes on your business, what you're trying to get done and what keeps getting in the way. By the end you'll know whether coaching suits you and which engagement would fit. There's no obligation.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No, but it helps to have your plan or list of goals nearby, even if it's rough. If one project is the main issue, be ready to describe how long it's been stuck.
What if I'm outside British Columbia?
That's fine. We coach owners in every province and territory in person, by video call or by phone. We'll agree a check-in time that works in your time zone.
